Claire Markette is the author of Dances With Destiny, a creative non-fiction collection of eleven personal essays. She has also written a suspense novel, Dark Orchids, under her name Zana Etter. She resides in New Jersey with her husband and son, and is active in local library writing groups. She is a member of Liberty States Fiction Writers and Women's Fiction Writers Association. In her previous life she was a medical librarian and ESL teacher. Her educational credentials include a BA degree in French and two masters degrees from Rutgers University. Claire also completed French courses at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
